I'm not being totally serious—this is a tongue-in-cheek homage to the late 90s, when people often wrote these greetings on their personal sites. It's also when I first started writing code.
I taught myself (table-based) HTML with the help of a site called HTML Goodies, and hand-coded everything in Notepad, because I'm pretty sure that's all there was.
I consider myself fortunate to have been a part of this profession since the very beginning. Over twenty years later, I still have a love of building with code (and a whole lot of perspective). Here's to another twenty!

My most recent personal project solves a problem I’ve long encountered around happy hour: what drink to make with the limited ingredients in my bar. Backed by Algolia's powerful search, my app is a fun and easy way to look up recipes by ingredients, name, type, and more. Prost!

For my second Vue.js app, I created a simple weather forecast app that fetches a five-day forecast from the Open Weather Map API. This project was also part of an interview process for a large digital consulting company.
As part of the interview process with a well-known financial services company, I created a small app that allows visitors to choose the best credit card for them based on credit rating and card type. Password protected – type "user" and then "pass" to gain access.
While at GoSpotCheck, my team and I worked with Denver-based Studio Mast to level up our branding. I created our brand's type standards and secondary color palette, then designed and built a website for our Brand Standards to facilitate company-wide adoption of the new brand.

I replaced Dazzle Printing’s old pricing calculators, which were difficult to update, with a simple interface in a WordPress backend. Pricing is calculated on the front-end with Vue components and validated on the server with a PHP class.
Vail Resorts needed a mobile-friendly way to help sell and explain their various ski passes. I created a simple applet that guides customers through a selection process and then suggests the optimal pass based on their answers.
In the early days of GoSpotCheck, the sales team needed a way to quickly show prospects how our reporting dashboard looked. I built a WordPress-powered backend that let them create mock dashboards in a matter of minutes (it was more flexible than the real thing!). The team used the tool for over four years.
Before GoSpotCheck got big enough to afford enterprise HR software, I was asked to build a performance review system into our internal, WordPress-powered knowledge center. I created a very robust system that, among other things, emailed users when reviews were ready.
I decided to codify all of my CSS best practices into an online styleguide that was inspired by AirBnB's JavaScript styleguide. I haven't updated it in years, but I think it still holds up well.
I culled through a pile of old website designs for the clients I had at my digital agency, and was pleasantly surprised at some of the work I did. I think many of these designs would still function well if implemented today, even though they are a bit dated.
